Mom is going to be OK

I have not been around for a while because while I was in DC ( see Can A True Republican--) and in the middle of the conference had to fly to KC to visit my mom -- my mom went for a regular check up and ended up with triple bypass surgery. She is Ok now. Thank God. I spend five days in a very cool unit up in Kansas City with some amazing professionals. I loved the doctors, and the surgeon and the nurses and the PTs. Great job. every one. Here is the video we call "Thank you Kansas for a job well done!"

Three Doctors and a Dietitian

Ok.. so as I mentioned earlier ( read A DAY IN A CLINIC )-- working in East Bay especially Antioch Area has been a big culture shock-- but then once in a while, you find some amazing people that you are just awed by and you think to yourself-- WOW.. I feel very lucky. Finally after MONTHS of going back and forth.. finally able to get together with some very cool docs. Now if you ARE one of those docs, dont be concerned, this is a very very low budget blog and has all of two regular viewers. So the chances of one of your patients actually seeing you here is null. Of course another extremely cool doc ( who refuses to be photographed OR videotaped.. and you know who you are IF you ever happen to read this!! ) thought this could hurt his/her image and affect his/her MPS score.. OH PLEASE. chances of someone you know reading this is as high as you living on a different planet. p.s the best part of this video ( outside of Terry giving good tips on how to catch a man ) is seeing Panjawani through all that food. ( how symbolic is that !!! ) IT makes me laugh every time I see it.

Can a TRUE liberal be friends with TRUE republican?

Oh it is tough.. but it can be done.. This is what Giovanna ( a good friend of mine ) and I discovered as we went to DC for our Diabetes Conference. The fact that it was in DC and an election year made it much more interesting.. And since I live in SF and forget sometimes that I am in a different planet.. I was in for a bit of a culture shock when I discovered that there ARE still republincas that exist. ( EXTREMLY scary but true ) _ Anyway since about 99.9% of my friends ARE liberal.. please forgive this video.. but had to be done. We had a great trip despite of all the ( emotional ) arguments we got into.

The best Neice in the world

Now as most of my regular blog readers ( yes still both of you ) know, I absoultely adore my neice and most likley so do you. How can you not? She is beautiful, amazing, brillant, smart, intelligent beyond her years and so much fun. She is the co-creator of that ( over 6000 hits ) great http://www.bigheadlittlehead.com/. She also is the author of famous detective series "the adventures of G-Max" which was New York's top ten non-fiction series for 120 weeks straingt.
She also co-directed and wrote songs to "she is totally crazy but I still love her--" and its follow up hit " Shirin and Shirin " dedicated to her grnadma and her second cousin Shrin who lives in London. The musical won 12 different TONYs including the best song of the year.

Afsee is probably going to be NOT too happy with me. but truth needs to be told.. It is MY blog and I can do whatever I want. I adore her. She is the best thing in my life. She makes me laugh -- she is constantly amaze me and I can easily contribute this whole blog to her. Instead, here is some of the best clips of our times together. Thank you for being such an amazing young lady. You totally rock and I LOVE you.
